Refunds & Returns

You may cancel the order for Goods that are usually in stock for any reason up to the point of dispatch and any payments made you shall be refunded in full within 28 days.

You shall inspect the Goods immediately upon receipt and shall notify us by email to sales@standrewstimber.co.uk within 7 days if the Goods are damaged or do not comply with any of the Contract. If you fail to do so, you shall be deemed to have accepted the Goods.

Where a claim of defect or damage is made, the Goods shall be returned by you to us within 28 days of delivery. You shall be entitled to a replacement or a full refund (including delivery costs) plus any return postal charges if the Goods are in fact defective.

If you are a consumer you have the right, in addition to your other rights, to cancel the Contract and receive a refund by informing us by email to sales@standrewstimber.co.uk within 7 working days of receipt of the Goods.  The right to cancel does not apply to contracts for the supply of Goods made to order.

Additionally if you are a consumer, and you have purchased an item online, you may return your purchase to us at your own cost for any reason within 14 days for a refund as long as the item is still unused, unopened and in good condition. A refund will be issued as soon as possible but within 30 working days of the goods being returned at the latest. You will only receive a refund of the cost of the goods received and not the delivery. Bespoke or made-to-order goods are not refundable. However they may be cancelled or returned subject to the prior agreement of the manufacturer. There will be a re-stocking & collection fee charged for this. When returning your order you must ensure it is packed securely and you must send it back to us so that we receive it within in 14 days of the date that item was delivered to you. Please note it is your responsibility for returning the goods at your own expense unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is faulty.

Goods must be returned by you at your expense within 28 days of cancellation in the original packaging and should be adequately insured during the return journey. You will receive a refund of all monies paid for the Goods (including delivery charges, if any) except for return postal charges. If you fail to return the Goods following cancellation, we shall be entitled to deduct the cost of recovering the Goods from you or for the cost of replacement Goods.

Goods to be returned must clearly show the order number obtained from us on the package.

Where returned Goods are found to be damaged due to your fault, you will be liable for the cost of remedying such damage.
